"Situated in a good position. Close to the town centre. Very good food and not too expensive. Everything you needed for a good night's stay."

"Does exactly what it says on the tin. On the seafront, 5 mins walk to the centre of town. Certain rooms have both sea views and a north facing balcony big enough to sit out on. Rooms on the small side but cosy and comfortable with a good shower. Good wi-fi. Friendly staff. Good breakfasts. Small first-come-first-served-after-1pm car park for guests, otherwise nearby municipal car parks of varying hourly charges (see Parkopedia). Nice hotel bar with a resident pianist when we arrived (a Sunday afternoon) and the restaurant was serving oysters. Highly recommended, good VFM. "

"It was for our wedding anniversary, love Canterbury and was our first visit to the hotel. Beautiful place, shame we had scaffolding at the back of us, which we looked on to, really rattled and the plastic was flying around due to the high winds."

"Amazing hotel full of history. Gorgeous clean room and a bath to die for. Will definitely be back. The young lad on reception that looked after us was fantastic. He even came to find us when our room was ready early. A very old building full of character and squeaky floorboards but that just added to its charm. "

"Required a place to stay the night that was close enough to the business that I had to do in Canterbury. Safe to say this place is great Vicky was very nice and when me and my partner required to check in before time to drop off luggage she went out of her way to make sure we were accommodated, it is located very well close by all your main interest points and unfortunately I woke up with a bad stomach so didn’t have the chance to give it good try unfortunately but based on everything else I can bet that breakfast is top tier. No faults "
