"Honestly, everything was great no complaints. There were a few little things like certain conditions of the buildings and room but it's literally right by the ocean. Things are going to have a little rust or erode. I saw a few times they had people cleaning up the stairs rails which was cool. The employees seems hard working and sort of understaffed which is unfortunate. Shout out to the bar tenders at the pizza area (I'm terrible with names) they were always nice. Their night is cool but sucks it's only on the weekends. Something that did suck is their introduction of the club is way too long. Totally personal preference and understandable, they do have a lot of American/ Caucasian folks but if they played more Mexican/Latin music that would have been cool. Didn't try any of the restaurants you had to reserve. Food overall was good. I usually found something that I liked. Breakfast was meh for me. Overall, I would come back here"

"Great customer service. A little pushie on trying to get the guests to become a member. Other than that place is amazing and beautiful. Would definitely recommend this place. Great for kids. Main lobby and the big pool was under construction when we were there but even then it was beautiful. "

"The food was exceptional, rooms were immaculately clean, the staff incredibly accommodating, and the scenic views breathtaking. This hotel with all it has to offer has restored our faith in five-star quality and what it means to go above and beyond in terms of caliber. Our little girl didn’t want to leave! Carlos, Mariano and the Kids Club staff provided more entertainment and days filled with activities and fun than we had anticipated. There was never a shortage of things to do and something for everyone, even those who like myself care to have a break with just a good book and cocktail in hand. The people here always greeted you with a smile and would go out of their way to make sure you were enjoying yourselves in the most genuine of ways. The concierge service were very attentive and made sure your meals were all planned in advance so you weren’t ever waiting for a table. We don’t come across a hotel we’d visit twice often. It’s actually a rarity for us, but we’d definitely make an exception for Grand Velas."
