Beach Resorts in Aruba

"I enjoyed my stay. The beach was across the street and was quiet. The staff was professional and friendly. The pool was only 2 1/2 feet for children. I wish they had a pool but since the beach was across the street, that is where we spent the majority of our time. I would visit again."

"The resort is like a boutique hotel. Not like those big resorts that feel like a mini city. Amsterdam Manor is beautifully landscaped with bright, lively colored buildings. Very quaint and intimate. Room was recently renovated with rain shower and hand-held showerheads, very comfortable beds and daily maid service. Staff was friendly and helpful. "This could be a really nice hotel if they did a little facelift. The staff is very friendly, but the concierge is useless. She doesn’t know what she’s doing and needs training because of her. We missed getting any kind of a tour in the morning and she didn’t even suggest that we stay there for dinner that we’d have to get a cab to go into Aruba to eat. We did stay there and eat at the restaurant and the food was pretty good. The breakfast is OK, but not great, but the rooms are quiet and the bed...

"All is good except the ongoing construction of a new building. Understand that that is the business plan. But the noise sometimes is beyond the promised comfort of a vacation. We had NOT been warned about it. There should have been at least some discount or an offer to compensate for it."
