"Great budget friendly stay for family of 3! Friendly desk clerks, valet parking, and easy access to walk to many downtown attractions. Didn’t try the restaurant. But the cafe in the first floor is awesome! Bonus was the game room to keep myself and kiddo busy early in the morning while dad slept in. We will definitely stay here again. A+"

"This is a beautiful old hotel with a lot of history. The staff keep it very clean and polished! It was within walking distance to all the things we wanted to enjoy. We did have a problem with noise. The balcony below our window on the third floor had partying guests that kept us up til the wee hours of the morning. I complained and was told this wouldn't happen again because the guests had checked out. The guests had not checked out and woke us up before 7 the next day. The staff's response was...

"We loved our stay at this hotel!! There are so many people to thank who made this such a memorable time. Isaac, Natasha and the wonderful property manager, Jenna, to name a few. It was in a great location, our room was beautiful. I loved the wonderful robe that was supplied. We had a couple of problems, but the attention of t he staff to address these was extraordinary. We will definitely be recommending this hotel! "

"When I arrived the water in the bath room was cool. I had to call them and tell them about the problem. They did come and fix the problem within an hour. I will stay there again."

"Gibbs hotel is really a great find. The value is exceptional. I never eat breakfast food in hotels, theirs was not that bad... I wish they had parking, as you have to spen another $45 on it, but other than that, I truly recommend Gibbs hotel for comfort, the surroundings, the friendly staff. I will definitely come back."

"I was charged and extra 60 dlls for room deposit that is not stated on the site . It's already 3 days and waiting for a refund of those 60 dlls I had stayed there before and it was not like that in the first place . Their breakfast is not as it used to be ... They have a set breakfast and it's not worth it .. very disappointed with that. "
