"Because of the high altitude, we had to seek help in the middle of the night.The staff were very helpful. The only issue that we had was they were supposed to pick us up at the airport but they did not show up until I called. I had to wait for 30 minutes."

Staff were super helpful, one even helped me learn more Spanish. 🙂 They made me special scrambled eggs without jambon for breakfast because I don’t eat meat. Hotel Rojas has portable heaters for comfort. And hot water!. I had two rooms, one before the four day Inka trail and one after. The room on the second floor was spacious with a lovely opening window. The room on the first floor was more basic but coat less. Both rooms were very clean...

"We had a great experience at Tierra Vivo. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, location was convenient, and breakfast was great. The staff was also very accommodating and welcoming, and allowed us to keep our luggage there for 4 days while we did our Machu Picchu trek. Only complaint is that in the second room we stayed in, there was a gap at the top of the door which allowed a lot of noise to come through. Other than that, highly recommend and would stay here again!"
