"The location was great only a 10-15 drive to Andover. The property is lovely, has a really comfy, cosy feel to it. The beer garden is lovely. The staff are super friendly and I believe the manager or owner is very friendly and welcoming. Only downside was that we stayed during the heat wave and as it’s an older building there’s no air conditioning. "A lovely country house hotel. Our room was very spacious with an outside patio where we enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine. The bathroom was large with a bath and a shower. We ate in the “Tasting Room” and very much enjoyed the tasting menu. The area outside the hotel has pleasant area with tables and chairs which we enjoyed as it was a warm sunny day. The hotel is quite expensive, but we thought it worth the money. The spa was OK, small and a little tired but we enjoyed our swim in the pool....
