"Unfortunately, our stay at PortoBay Liberdade did not fully meet our expectations for a 5-star hotel. Upon arrival, we were disappointed that the hotel’s VIP perks, which we were expecting, were not provided. After our first night, we spent the day exploring the city and returned at 17:00, only to find that our room had not been cleaned. We had to contact the staff to have this resolved. "In a very vibrant area of Lisbon. Several walkable neighborhoods close by. Extremely helpful front desk staff. Very good restaurants nearby. Close to tram and Metro, National Museum of Contemporary Art. Walked 10 minutes to Fado in Chiado musical performance. Nothing but positive things to say about this hotel."

"The front desk staff were outstanding. They were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Our flight left before breakfast was being served so they prepared us boxed breakfast to go. My husband is celiac and his breakfast had quite a selection of gluten free baked goods. We would definitely return. "
