"Staying here was restful, and very peaceful. Perfect! We enjoyed the privacy of the location. The generous breakfast, and attention to details. It is centrally located to the area sights we wanted to see. It was lovely to have the vineyards to walk through, beautiful views of the river Douro. Definitely recommended!"

"This is a beautiful, peaceful property. We enjoyed the huge rooms, gorgeous dining room, and decent gym. The spa consisted of a small sauna and steam room (which we could not open, and there was no one working there to open it). "Cool and rustic. Good breakfast included and the room was unique and large. We liked that the location was close to the town of Obidos but away from the crowds during the holidays. Wish we could have enjoyed the pool and outdoors more but it was winter. Still, very different and the staff were all very kind and friendly. Alfonso particularly went out of his way to help us out a lot. "
