"We loved staying here! It was the perfect base to explore the island - and great to be in nature with modern amenities. "I had a lovely stay at Casa da Cisaltina. Fatima, the owner, made me feel right at home and was very helpful with information about things to do in the area and suggestions! The breakfast was delicious and included her homemade jams. There is a wonderful view out the backyard of the northside of the caldera. Added bonus is the parking on site - a car is definitely necessary in the Povocao area and eastern side of the island. "

"The owner is a not very polite and I would not recommend to stay here to anyone but the property is comfortable. "

"The owner is very nice and we were received in a very kind fashion. The house is fashionable and very cozy. The surroundings are just amazing. No need to worry about parking, since there is a parking spot right in front of the house, inside the property. We just loved it."

"1st trip 2 stunning Madeira, organised accommodation ( flight & rental car) 2 weeks b4 arriving. The new villa is very spacious for 6 (no single beds). Kitchen & 2.5 bathrms are well equipped mostly (needs corkscrew, colander, more towels, outdoor furniture, but had dishwasher & laundry tablets). Expedia shows the villa in Funchal (it is not). The letting agency hasn’t fixed this (could c the villa on other platforms, elsewhere, & google maps doesn’t recognise its street address correctly, u...

"I enjoyed the feeling of having my own pad in Nordeste! The parking was super easy with quick access to the home. It was a bit chilly to use the pool but coming home to them every day was a nice experience. The interior of the home was functional and modern while upholding the charm of a Nordeste home. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking to escape the fast pace of normal life. Thanks for everything!!"
