"Clean room, cheap rates, mini-fridge and microwave The parking lot was well lit. Dim lighting in the room. Check your hot water as soon as you get there. We called the front desk the next morning to inquire about the lack of hot water and they said they would check on it and hung up. Never heard from them again. I guess the rates are cheap because you don’t get hot water! All-in-all, it was fine. Just check to make sure everything works. Don’t wait until the morning. "

Wish there were more elevators because there were times the wait time was long and there were lots of guests waiting for their turn. "upon arrival...and I knew I was arriving early, but your plane lands when your plane lands. Uber arrives at hotel...I met the young lady at the front desk and said I was there to check in. Was told my room was not available yet...not a problem, again I knew I was early and I knew the check in/ check out schedule. BUT then was told a room could be made available right away for $20 - that struck me the wrong way. I politely denied the offer. Asked where I could go to get a cup of coffee and was...

"I absolutely love staying at The Rusk House. Amazing apt homes, friendly staff, very clean apts, very spacious. cultural activities near by, restaurants accessible within walking distance. Coffee or literally whatever you want is near by. My husband and I ONLY place of choice when visiting Houston. 😍"
