"Although a quiet area the lodges need some maintenance! Quiet dated property and room decor. The rooms feel very cold, especially for this time of year. I suppose the price per nght reflects this! Not a "bad" stay, just not the best."

"Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating for an earlier check in. The rooms were a lovely size and the bed really comfortable. The only downside for me was the dining chairs for breakfast (which were the style used for weddings) and are on the small side and some were slightly wobbly. Will dray herr again."

"Room was spacious and clean with walk in shower and comfortable. Light outside on the walkway was a little intrusive as we are used to a dark room. We ate in the restaurant and food was excellent and served hot which was a bonus,only downside was slow service. Breakfast was good and excellent choice available. Service at breakfast was very good. "We only stayed for one night but were very impressed by our room. It was very comfortable and well-equipped with tea and coffee making facilities. The triple glazing was excellent at keeping out the road noise, and we didn't hear a thing. We would definitely recommend it."

"Really lovely place to stay, not what I was expecting at first but I have zero complaints about it!! The staff were fantastic, the rooms were beautiful and the shower controls were mindblowing; the only downside is the pillows/mattress aren’t too comfortable, but everything else about the property is fantastic. Thank you for being so accomodating!!"
