"Stayed for one night as a couple to visit the theatre. Very pleasant check in staff. Room was large, clean, quiet & had everything one could need for overnight stay. Took an early evening drink at the Castaway bar. Dinner the restaurant was first class. Food was fab & staff very welcoming. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. It was refreshing staying in an independently run hotel as we often stay at chain hotels. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming- nothing was too much trouble. The room was nice and the breakfast was really good. The pool and spa facilities were a really nice feature. The only niggle was that there was no air conditioning in the room. It was so warm, despite having a desk top fan, that we found it difficult to sleep. Overall, a great hotel at a reasonable price."
