"Nice hotel. Great beds. Nice rooftop “restaurant “ with a few food options. Filtered water available in the hallway 👍 but no air conditioning so when anything is left open to allow air in, mosquitoes can enter. Also, the vibe from hotel staff, particularly in the lobby, is often less than warm. We stayed 2x for a total of 19 nights. Not sure we’ll go back again though simply based on the vibe."

"A very friendly, charming and reasonably priced property that is family-owned. The rooms vary a lot, and as I stayed their at two separate times within my stay, the second room I got was WAY more comfortable and modern. The breakfast was wonderful and the hotel owner joined us at one point for a chat, and shared a bit of the history of the hotel."

The front desk person was late the day I arrived, so I ended up waiting outside for 10 minutes, then another 20 inside after calling the number in the website and being given a pin to access the building.
