"Pros: - Every morning, complimentary breakfast is provided. - The hotel is very close to Hyatt Regency, making it great for dining and taking walks. Cons: - The single bed is narrow. If you want to change your position at night, it’s uncomfortable. - One of the windows in our room is very close to another apartment building. "This hotel was great. The main issue is that you can’t easily access the golf course or the park, even though they literally in the backyard of the hotel. The is a big fence blocking access to the golf course, so you have to walk 35 minutes to the next hotel and enter from there. It’s really annoying because I booked this accommodation so that I could explore the forest, but the access was actually really far away. "

"The staff at this hotel is what made our stay memorable. We were a group of 12 (a study abroad program) and the hotel staff took care of everything, from booking a bus for us and making sure it arrived on time to setting up a table and chairs on the rooftop for our daily "classroom." The food from the hotel's restaurant was delicious, too! We appreciate the attention to detail and the care the staff took to meet our needs. "

"Staff here are top notch! So welcoming helpful and ready to make your stay the absolute best it can be. Gym was great to help me train for my trek. Pool was beautiful. Restaurant is fabulous and the buffet for dinner and breakfast was delicious. Will definitely be coming back here next time in Kathmandu! "

"We stayed here for almost two weeks. I have an allergy to Gluten and the chefs went out of their way to make me special food for the entire trip. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel like this was our second home. We will be going back and staying at Hotel Shambala! Thank you so much to everyone. We have travelled all over the world, and have never felt so welcome and taken care of. The staff was fabulous. Our room was always cleaned, and when we needed anything, it was there. Thank you for the amazing experience!"
