"Beautiful heritage property with lots of interesting quirks and fab decor. Loved that we had several dining options. Local craft markets within the grounds of the hotel was such a bonus. Staff were attentive though on one occasion one or two at reception could have done better. Overall very enjoyable stay and wish we could have experienced it for more than one night. Definitely recommend."

"The employees are very nice and attentive. The property is new and clean. Occasionally you get asked what is your room number multiple times during a meal. I think one time should be enough. One thing I didnt like: constant cleaning during service at the restaurant. It just doesn't feel right to be eating and someone to be constantly mopping and cleaning around you. Please, clean before and after service hours or if there is spill. Thank you. "

"A small piece of heaven in the middle of nowhere - gorgeous views, calm and very relaxing. The room was big, comfortable and with massive windows facing Nilgiri. It might have been expensive, but it was worth it after a week trekking the Annapurna circuit. The food was great too!"

"I didnt get in my flight and had an unexpected night stay in Kathmandu. The hotel i had been in was fully booked. This was a really lovely hotel. The staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful. The only thing even slighly lacking was the breakfast. The food was a 3.5- 4 out of 5. Overall, excellent stay."

"I initially booked 2 nights but ended up staying for 8. You might find something that looks similar and is a few dollars cheaper but I didn’t even go hunting once I found that Jay Suites had an elevator, powerful AC with a simple on-off controller, a good bed, excellent shower with unlimited hot water, an in-room fridge with 2 free 1 litre bottles of water daily, and a better than average breakfast for about $5. The staff were exceptionally friendly and dealt with one minor plumbing issue...
