"The staff, particularly the male Portuguese bar tender, were friendly and helpful. The bedrooms are in need of renovation but the rooms were quiet and the location ideal. The food and drink was reasonable though pricey. Would stay again if in the area."

"The rooms were newly renovated so our room still had that new shine to it. It was clean and neat. All staff were helpful and competent. The bathroom didn't have any hooks or shelves to hang or put toiletries but I made do by putting stuff on the counters and hanging my toiletry bag on the doorknob. We ate a lunch in their pub and it was the equivalent of diner food in our opinion which isn't what we want to eat while on vacay so we only ate once there. Coffee was great. "The staff here avoided air fresheners at my request, and avoided putting the radiator on. The room was still warm in November. It’s in a lovely rural setting. I would love to stay for pleasure next time. "
