They downplay the condition by positioning it as a classic Mediterranean resort, one of a timeless age. Also, the layout of the villa is "choppy," making it a bit challenging for customers to navigate their way around. Lastly, the resort is directly on East Camelback Rd., making entry/exit difficult via car and virtually impossible on foot (no sidewalks!)."

"For the most part, the property is very nice. Some of the rooms are remodeled and some are not. My first room was not remodeled, then I moved to a remodeled room. The issue with both rooms is the the door to the adjacent room is very thin and it sounds like people in the other room are in your room with you. Other than that, the property was nice."

"Fireplace was a nice touch... very roomy. Comfortable bed. Hot shower. Plenty of space to hang clothing. Boutique type of hotel with "cottage" or apartment like buildings (2-4 per). Will definitely look to stay here again on our next visit."

"The property was clean and quiet. Parking right outside the door so that was easy. Check in was great and Front desk person was helpful as she provided us a book of all the cool things to do in Mesa. Property offers great value for what you pay to stay. "

"Overall this property is quite nice. It has been upgraded. Capet in the halls are getting pretty dirty. Especially the first floor. This hotel is next to Mayo Scottsdale and nothing else really around, but they charge nightly for parking and feel like it’s just way to make extra money don’t see why tons of parking not ever full. No 3rd day room refresh as stated. Had to ask for coffee and towels everyday and remove our own trash. I would stay again because of the proximity to Mayo Scottsdale."
