"Everything about this place was awesome. I was thoroughly surprised at the quality of the rooms and this is the first time I ever stayed at a hostal. It felt just like a hip cool hotel with plenty of activities and an awesome rooftop. The staff was super nice and spoke a basic level of English to help me when my basic Spanish skills failed. Fantastic property, probably going to stay here again when I go back to Medellin."

"All of the food from the free breakfast to the dining options for lunch and dinner were delicious and beautifully presented. It was very fun to stay in a 100 year-old hotel and to walk around the gardens. Taste from the distillery and check out the coffee roasting."

"Paid for a superior "Design Room" at the property This was located right next to the communal kitchen with an internal window linking the two. As a consequence all noise, smells and light from the kitchen was evident in the room, conversations and cooking starting from 5:30am, people using the washing machine from 7am and throughout the day. "Everyone is very hospitable. All the concierges are bilingual and friendly. Diego and Fran the bartenders are great people. What really blew me away were the ballon’s on the walls, the message on the mirror, and a birthday cake in my room ready with a decorative plate. Superb service, will definitely be returning."

"Communication was lacking No information came the day before as they said so not easy to be at the door and no information how to get in Hot water was not working in the bathroom sink and water adjustments in the shower and Bidet were very tricky Wifi was hit and miss it worked for only the first day No service so toilet paper was short and towels should have been changed we stayed three days and garbage piled up"
