"We had a larger room with a pool view. Merlin Beach is a five star for snorkeling. We would go back for that. Staff was great! The resort is kid friendly, so expect it to be noisy. The restaurants are not spectacular for a resort. And the resort feels like a three star trying to be a five star. Nothing high end about the room either with a plastic bath tub, three-four star like furnishing. We had a bad experience where a late check in tried a few time to come through an internal door connecting...

"It is okay hotel. Service is okay. Room service not the best. Food was good but I had to try multiple times to get salt and pepper. Additionally I ordered classic coke. Mentioned it numerous times. They sent diet and I had to call again. They brought me the coke classic and then charged me again. This is absurd when they made the mistake. "

"I will totally recommend this hotel for travelers who’s trying to get away from the very busy and hectic Sukhumvit street hotels. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.Special thanks to Annie Park at the checking desk for helping us navigating how to get to the attractions around Bangkok. She also send my wife a belated birthday cake. The only drawback was, you had to walk about 15 minutes to the MRT station. Thanks to all the staff. "
