"Our room was really big with a huge bathroom. Thick curtains, cosy duvet, warm fluffy towels and plush loo paper. What more could anyone want?? Restaurant was nicely decorated. Food was great. My husband said it was the best steak he's ever had. They also sent out a dish with Happy Anniversary written on it with macaroons and strawberries. Such a lovely gesture. "

"The lodge is set in a very scenic setting next to Lock Aboyne and woodlands which you can walk around. The property itself owned and run by a lovely couple who pretty much seem to do everything themselves. "Although only 10 minutes from Stonehaven it was ideally situated in the beautiful Kincardine countryside. Room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was whatever you wanted and the bonus for us was that the plum tree in the garden was groaning with fruit. Owner picked some delicious plums for us. If we're back in the area well certainly consider Crawfield Grange as the #1 place to stay. "
