"Although only 10 minutes from Stonehaven it was ideally situated in the beautiful Kincardine countryside. Room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was whatever you wanted and the bonus for us was that the plum tree in the garden was groaning with fruit. Owner picked some delicious plums for us. If we're back in the area well certainly consider Crawfield Grange as the #1 place to stay. "

" Staff very friendly and friendly with each other, menu very poor, food apart from lobster was very good. Dining was very expensive for what you got. Cleanliness in hotel was very good, bedroom not so, went to make a coffee only to find the kettle disgusting, the spout was even full of dried sediment. Stayed here 20 months ago and I'm afraid the hotel has gone down and the prices up. Don't think it should be classed as five star anymore. Which is a shame because it is a beautiful place."
