"Great location! Walkable to major museums, transit, restaurants, and grocery store. We took the #397 bus from the airport, which dropped us off a short walk from the hotel (fast, easy and cost-effective). City centre was about 30 mins via tram. Staff were excellent: friendly, helpful, and gave advice on restaurants and transit. Room was cozy, very clean and well air-conditioned (Amsterdam was very warm when we visited). The fridge was also stocked with goodies for us to enjoy free of charge - a pleasant surprise. We were treated very well and we enjoyed our stay. We would whole-heartedly recommend this hotel!

"I stayed in Clayton Hotel, the exterior of the building is historic, but the inside is very modern and maintained well. I took one star off on service as the staffs at the buffet restaurant are kind of impatient, I waited 45 minutes for my omelette, after all. Think they are understaffed at the restaurant. One waitress was screaming at another one publicly when they got busy. Anyway, it’s a great stay after all"

10/10 Excellent
"Great location to the museums, park, shops, and restaurants. Lovely little room was very clean and quiet. The staff were friendly. It wise nice to have a peaceful place to stay outside of the city center but accessible to everything. "
"We booked the room with the view on the top floor and couldn't have been happier. 10/10. Bed was comfortable, shower was amazing, and SO QUIET. Probably the best sleep we've had while traveling. Plus you can't beat this location. Loved having the coffee shop downstairs to start the day. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful as well!"
"The location was very good. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was very good. I really liked the chia pudding. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. I arrived very early in the morning and didn’t expect to be able to check-in at such early hour, but the staff kindly let me. I would like to stay here again."
