"If you want to be right in the centre this is the place to be. Unfortunately a lots of building work going on next door but in the evening this had no affect on the hotel and generally a quiet place to sleep if you are a few floors up. Hotel staff very helpful."

"We stayed here as it is very local to my sisters and were up for a family Christmas and we were not disappointed. We were welcomed and everything was polite and friendly. The room was well presented and there were even chocolates waiting for us. Plus a fully stocked coffee/tea/hot chocolate and biscuits. Lovely place for a family weekend away.

"The place was lovely, me and my family had a great weekend away. Neil was great, providing all firewood for the hot tub, showing us how to use the sauna and giving us some info on local places to check out. Peacock inn was a win by the way. Will definitely be back again."

"We have stayed at the Limes 3 times over the last 18 months for a week at a time. The Owner (Dave) and his son (Dan) are fabulous people. We also joined the Limes for the New Years Eve party. It was such fun to see families with little ones enjoying the celebrations. Many activities for all. As with most UK hotels there is a kettle, cups, tea and milk on the ready. There is a warm and welcoming family atomosphere at the Limes! "
