"Loved the huge, beautiful grounds and the activities offered at the resort. We did the tubing and horseback riding - great fun and so convenient that it was at the resort. Concierge was very helpful finding us local tours, arranging transportation, etc. And good dining options too. We ate every meal at the resort except lunch during excursions. Really convenient and relaxing to have good dining at the resort. We loved the hot springs by the river, especially the one right above the waterfall....

"We loved our short stay at The Kokoro. Would stay for an extended time if we were staying in the area longer. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ate onsite and enjoyed our meals. The natural spa on-site was a plus. The grounds are beautiful and full of wildlife. We were able to see frogs, sloths and many birds right on the grounds, with the friendly assistance from the groundskeeper. Our lodge has a great view of the volcano, right from our front window."
