"El hotel es super pequeño y alejado del centro considerando la poca frecuencia de taxis. El dia que llegamos fue muy temprano 6:30am. Nosotros dias antes tratamos de contactarnos con la propiedad para ver si podíamos tener un early check in, pero no tuvimos respuesta. Llegar ahi y no tener una habitación hasta la hora del check in fue bastante incomodo. "The hotel looks it is very new. The room was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated, the hot water shower worked well. The señor at reception was incredibly nice and helpful beyond words. He will give recommendations on where to eat and help you with any questions. He also called a taxi for me and waited with me for the taxi to arrive as Uber doesn’t work in Uyuni. A very kind and amiable man! "

"Wonderful boutique hotel amongst the dusty and noisy streets of Uyuni. The surrounds were typical for the city unfortunately. We were only there for a night after the salt flats tour. Nice breakfast, helpful staff. Only negative is that our room was very cold and we never figured out the heating. But that was more our fault than anything. "

"The outside of the hotel did not look like the pictures. The hotel was about six blocks from the centre and did not feel very safe at night. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable but the water didn’t work in the bathroom. "

"The Tonito Hotel is the ONLY place to even consider staying in Uyuni! The hotel is truly an oasis in the salt desert! Chris and his team are top notch: very accommodating, friendly, helpful & just great people!! The restaurant (Minuteman Pizza) is EXCELLENT for both dinner & breakfast! "We spent one night in this hotel. We booked it as the last minute as the hotel we first booked was closed. We arrived at the hotel by bus before 5 am and Almidena staff was there and opened the door for us. They also allowed us to early check in so we could get a room to take shower and had a nap. The staff Santos (hopefully I remember his name correctly) is very helpful. He took care of us very well and provided all convenience for us. Only one thing I can complain this hotel is its facility....
