"Lovely grounds swimming pool. The ocean is so nice to swim in. Room is small. A/c keeps the room very damp husband and I got chest colds. Breakfast buffet was the worst we have had in Asia. Over all would stay again hopefully they get new a/c units. Restaurants and Fisherman’s Village walking distance. Scooter rental and 7/11 next door. "

"Really great and lovely beach front resort/hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here. The beach is quiet with plenty of loungers. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and were always smiling. We stayed in the Grand Deluxe Bungalow rooms at the bottom of the resort by the beach, and these rooms were a great location next to the beach, pool, bar and breakfast. The hotel is on a hill but the staff were more than happy to collect you in a golf buggy to go up to reception to exit the hotel,...

"Great location near lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Very modern room with large smart tv. Comfy bed, spotless and spacious. Lots going on in the hostel. Pool table, ping pong, games, dj etc. I’m not downside is the noise coming from all the bars nearby. Thumping bass til gone 3am. Luckily I’m a deep sleeper! Despite this would definitely stay in this room again for the price. "

"We stayed here because it’s on a more quieter part of the island. Overall we’d say this property feels like a motel with good amenities. We stayed in the top floor standard room. The room was clean but could use some touching up. The coffee station was not ideal, we had to move the kettle to a wall shelf that was very un level because the electric outlet was too far and a very short cord. "The property itself is nice. The room was spacious. The location did not have access to the beach arms the street it is on was not great for walking."

The Hive - Best Value

"What a great stay at The Hive. This is a wonderful boutique style hotel near the water with easy access to town. Rooms are bungalow style with AC. Super clean with great staff all around. Lots of chairs around to pool so no need to get up at 6 to throw a towel on a chair. Breakfast is great and lots of coffee options. Ive already recommended to friends and family who are now booked for March."

"Good choice for people who don’t want to be in the thick of tourists, shopping, nightlife, recluse enough to walk to Fisherman’s Village. Very good breakfast. Not so keen on the other restaurant fare. Great swimming pools for family. "
