Fantastic hotel right by the beachfront. Spotlessly clean, with a beautiful and quiet pool area, and fantastic attentive staff. Also, finally, a hotel in Thailand that freely offers fresh coconuts with the breakfast buffet! Something's telling me Explorar will be my go-to option for Samui!

We stayed at the Explorar for the last leg of honeymoon trip and it was incredible. The staff go above and beyond and the hotel itself is stunning and the pool was amazing. There are a lot of complimentary activities throughout the week. You can visit lots of temples, elephants and waterfalls easily. The food has a nice variety but also nice restaurants nearby and in Fisherman's Village. Joey and his team at the bar made the best cocktails & drinks we had on our travels. They were so friendly and knowledgeable. We had the best time, thank you!

Exceeded all our expectations in every way for our relaxation getaway! We stayed in a beach front villa and totally made the most of the pool and the gorgeous beach view. The rooms, the resort itself and the staff are all top notch… modern, fresh and very clean. The social hour was our daily treat (two for the price of one quality cocktails) where we enjoyed meeting other couples from different parts of the world along with other Aussies. The breakfast was amazing (I especially loved the fresh coconut each day) and the grounds a tropical haven. Very highly recommended.

Nice and quiet seaside hotel, with excellent service and beautifully maintenined garden and pool. Kind and polite staff, sandy, clean beach. Walking distance, 2.5 kms ( if you up for it) from Fisherman village, with busy night market. The pavement for the pedestrians is rough everywhere in the island not suitable for disabled peopleor mobilitys scooters. The hotel provides excellent accessibility for disabled guests.There is an elephant sanctuary within walking distance as well, but no pavement. I would highly recommend this holiday resort for couples, and people who want adult only hotel. Foods were high quality and excellent. Entertainment music was appropriately selected for guests who wanted a relaxing experience.

Simply lovely! This stay has been one of the best ones so far Ive been to, incredible architecture and accurately built area in and around the entire land covering every scenic area, incredible and mostly peaceful, quite and enjoyable to take a good rest from the busy world, and exceptional service and 24-hr buggy service is appreciated as it takes 2 mins to get to your villa on the buggy, so its very useful, Lovely long pool and the jacuzzi is the best one among what we got as we chose pool villa in other stays! Incredible and enjoyable stay!

We had an amazing time at Explorar. We were a bit hesitant to book at the start given the unknown/name of the hotel, but we're so glad we ended up booking. It was nothing short of amazing, the room, facilities, pool, bar, food (special highlight to the Pad Thai and the wood fire pizzas), and the staff is definitely a highlight. We could name so many people here, Jor, Ticky, Sophia, they were just great! Definitely recommend for anyone looking at exploring Koh Samui.

I have stayed at this hotel in May for my family vacation. The staff are so friendly. All staff from the reception to the bar, restaurant, and everywhere are so nice and willing to help with everything you need. The hotel is quiet and private. Breakfast has a variety of choices. One special thing about breakfast is you have to order the omelet and coffee on paper of your personal choice and then the staff brings it to your table which is more fascinating than any other hotel. The hotel has a timely shuttle to nearby attractions which is very convenient. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and I highly recommend for this hotel if you want a private and quiet stay for your vacation.
