"Honestly the best hotel I've ever stayed in. all the staff were helpful and friendly. We had one minor issue with a bath plug during my stay and they bent over backwards to fix it for me. This is the sort of service that wins awards. And for the price its the deal of the century to stay in such a lovely building. My room at the top of the building had a lovely round window with a view of the Castle. Top notch. I fully reccomend"

It is an old house on 3 levels, so quite a few stairs, but with plenty of room for the 2 of us. It had everything we needed for our stay. It was our second time here."

"We arrived at 6pm and waited 10 minutes to check in. The room we reserved was unavailable. We drove for 20 minutes on single track to arrived from Shrewsbury. The breakfast was none existent. The room was clean and tidy but the lighting was terrible. I think 6.0 rate is suitable."
