"Extremely close to Otsuka JR station. Decent selection of food on the other side of the train tracks, one stop away from Ikebukuro. If you have stayed at an APA, it’s pretty much always the same, comfortable enough and has what you need."

"My first night we had to evacuate the building around 2:30am because another tourist on the 12F set off a fire from his mobile phone battery. Staff was efficient as well as the fire dept and alarms worked well. I stayed in building A which their breakfast restaurant was as good as the APA Hotel in Kyoto (they had a nicer buffet compared to the meager selections of this more expensive hotel). "This was our first time staying in Asakusa area booking with some initial hesitation. However, we found the location excellent with many options to dine, area was great, robust neighbourhood with stores (Uniqlo attached & Don Q a stones throw away), dining and amenities not to mention Senso-ji temple close by. "Perfect location near Shinjuku Station. The airport limousine bus stops here at various times during the day or it is a five minute walk to the bus terminal / NEX train. Some rooms are a little small, I could almost reach across the room from side to side. There is a hot water pot and refrigerator in the room."

"Very close to the historic Sumo Hall, Ryogoku Station, and a variety of different dining options within walking distance. Hotel had very good staff and cleaning staff, they were polite and did their job. Hotel overall was clean, spacious, and had many services and amenities. I do wish there was a bit more space in the area waiting for elevators on the main floor. It gets crowded when groups come in and block up the area, almost impossible for those getting off or on. There should be signs telling those waiting for elevators to allow those getting off at that floor to leave the elevator first, there were a few times some female foreign tourists would just barge in. They should understand the etiquette is the same as the public transit, help them get accustomed to the local culture, to allow people to get off first before barging in. Not a major deal, but can go along way to help. Overall great place to stay. Suited me perfectly."
