Cabañas Te Maori

3.0 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (28)
"Patricia met us at the airport with flower garlands and a beaming smile, she is so lovely and helpful. Got to the Cabanas and only a 5 min walk to the seafront, perfect location. The cabanas are not 5 star luxury but everything was clean and worked. The bedroom is upstairs and the stairs are quite step, so probably not for you if you have mobility issues. I must admit when I first saw the beds, I thought they looked uncomfortable, but they were fine and slept well every night. Patricia also had...

Iorana Hotel

3.5 star property
7.2 out of 10, Good, (55)
"Hotel is a bit run down. Rooms were basic and clean. Person at the front desk was not very knowledgeable. They are a mile and a half from town and the walk along the ocean was nice but still got tiring. Would be good if they had bicycles for rent. They did call taxis for us which arrived pretty quickly except for one that didn't show at all (and guy then had left the desk). Water is not drinkable and hotel only sold small bottles and ran out so there was no water available at all one night...

Turismo Vinapu

3.0 star property
7.0 out of 10, Good, (16)
"This is an ultra-budget accommodation on a really expensive island, really its one step above camping - eg: bring your own toilet paper. It was an ok place to stay, but future travellers need to know the details here. Also it was exceptionally difficult to contact this property, as expedia didnt provide an email, only a phone number - which was not accessible outside of Rapa Nui. This is necessary in order to arrange airport transfer because no one knows where this property actually is. It...

Tauraa Hotel

3.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (139)
"Our hostess Edith is a TREASURE! We chose Hotel Tauraa for the photos of the beautifully landscaped grounds, with many sculptures and tropical plants. We never imagined how welcome and cared-for we would feel during our 3-night stay. First, we didn’t expect to be greeted at the airport with leis made by Edith from materials in her own garden. We missed out on that by hurrying out to begin the 15-minute walk to the hotel, but we still got the leis. ;) At the hotel, she immediately offered fresh...

Hotel Puku Vai

3.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (39)
"One thing I really liked about this place was it’s literally walking distance from the airport, about two blocks away. The transfer company had my flight wrong so didn’t show up, and I really wanted to get to the hotel to use the pool, so I walked, and it was fine. They actually let me into my room early, which was very kind, and let me check out late because I was coming back from a beach excursion and wanted to have a shower. Good breakfast, nice, big room, clean, and lovely pool! My friend...
