"Very nice house with friendly and helpful staff. Its a up hill walk of a medium distance. A bit difficult if you have baggage. Breakfast is not included. But just a 5 minute walk to the beach and Monterroso's esplanade. Old town is about 15 minutes walk along the sea. Plenty of eateries starting from the moment you come down the hill."

My family and I (3 total) stayed a few days here in August and it was wonderful! there were a few things to keep in mind when booking here however. "Hotel 5 Terre was a nice location for access to Monterosso and the train station to the other Cinque Terre villages. Parking and breakfast included makes it worthwhile! It’s an older property so don’t expect a lot of modern amenities, but it certainly serves its purpose. WiFi worked so that was a plus! Staff was helpful. "

"A nice clean place, friendly staff and easy to get to from the train. Only issue was stairs, we had the top 3rd floor great for view but the lift is mainly for luggage so if stairs are a problem reconsider others-wise a very decent option and would stay again."

"Near to the train station, if anyone wants to spend a night or two at La Spezia on a budget this place is hard to beat. Clean and neat, staff is only on property up to 2:00 pm, so if you arrive later than that you must follow the instructions they will send to your Whatsapp. I did, not a big deal, everything was straightforward. "We stayed here for one night while we visited Cinque Terre. So convenient, less than a 2 minute walk to the train station. The small breakfast we got was very tasty and the service at checkin/checkout and breakfast was great. There are only two parking stalls at the hotel so arrive early if you have a car, otherwise you have to find a spot on the street. The only “negative” thing we experience was the bed was very very uncomfortable. "

"A good place to stay for a couple of nights. It’s beautifully refurbished and v clean. Breakfast is nice too. It’s quite a walk into town or the train station, 30 mins or so, but there’s a a v good pizza place just down the road. We arrived mid afternoon which does not fit in with the hotels checking in hours, but after a phone call we were able to get in, much appreciated after a very long drive. "

"We took a bus (runs every 15min) to the hotel which was approx 10-15 min ride. The hotel was beautiful built in 2011. The pool was nice and well maintained. Staffs attended us was funny and helpful. They have 3 rabbits in the properly running around to keep you entertained. The only downside was that we were assigned on the connecting room and we could hear the next door neighbor as if they were in the same room. We heard some unpleasant sounds from the next door couple."
