The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The hotel owners were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and had all we needed for a day of exploring the area. "Amazing location with breathtaking views and a spectacular setting. Pictures do not do justice so if you are planning to do a visit to Cinque Terre you should choose this place. The crazy thing is that I read reviews about the drive, terrain and the remoteness so I had an idea of what to expect. What I envisioned was pretty darn accurate! Tight roads, steep cliffs, hairpin turns all while climbing and dropping to what id say one of the highest peaks within the rugged landscape. Plan to have a vehicle that can handle all of this along with a positive outlook and a love for adventure….because chances are, you will get lost. But don’t lose hope… Along the way between the freeway exit and Vernazza you’ll find a quaint stop named Bistrot PZ. Pop in and Rolando and staff will get you relaxed with a limoncello and will reassure your decision to stay at Locanda Valeria was one of the best decisions you made during your vacation. Once you arrive, you will be taken care of by a wonderful staff (including the Gatta) who is the ‘principessa’ of the grounds. Don’t overlook this location, it truly is a gem and if you are the type to refrain from sharing space with tons of tourists crowding your vibe, look no further and book it. Ciao 🇮🇹 "
