"I have stayed here before. Yes, rooms are small but it is cheap, clean and very conveniently located in the heart of Causeway Bay. You have shopping, dining and the MTR on your doorstep. Safe. Staff are pleasant and friendly. WIFI worked well. Hot shower and air conditioning. Hong Kong is not cheap. There is a lot to do. I was hardly at the hotel. "I went in January because i wanted to use the indoor swimming pool. The breakfast was really good and not just buffet, you can order. The breakfast was part of the deal so it was free. The MTR subway station is directly at the back (Central exit F) so that made getting around even more convenient. The staff made themselves known to me and really addressed any issue no matter how minor. This was my first time staying at the Mandarin Oriental (I usually stay at the Grand Hyatt) but I would strongly consider staying here again. My only issue is that the bath water was temperature controlled and I couldnt get it to the level of hot that I like. It is also 10 minutes away (30 to 50HKD) taxi ride to the Central ferry port."
