"Really nice resort. It kind of felt like a good middle ground of all things: fancy, but still affordable; big, but not huge; fun, but not a party resort. The food was well above average for resort food, although it still wasn't phenomenal. However, that was more than made up for because they had really great, fresh tacos available at what seemed like every turn. Of note, not every restraunt is open every night and the schedule is a bit confusing, so if you want to try a restraunt, don't put it off. The adults only pool was really nice and quiet, although a little small. Best part was definitely the staff. Incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help you. If there was any shortcoming in the resort, the quality of the staff more than made up for it."

"We really loved our stay at Sandos. Built into the rocks between the Pacific and the marina made for absolutely stunning views. We had a marina view room and enjoyed watching the marina traffic and nightly entertainment from our balcony. The staff was incredibly friendly; not fake or forced, just genuinely kind and engaging. Our housekeeper’s smile, Gloria, could light up a room. From our first dinner with Luis as our server at Agave to our last absolutely delicious breakfast at Don Diego, the service was exceptional. Make sure to try the Mexican coffee in the clay pot at breakfast! There were only a few misses on food, but overall we thought it was really good. We met so many fun people at the pool, and also enjoyed reading in the hammocks on the beach. Booking through Expedia evidently made us Royal Elite guests, however, we didn’t actually use any Royal Elite services. Thank you for the memories; we’ll definitely be back!"

"The area of the hotel is perfect. It’s not far from downtown José . The staff were helpful. The area is in the hotel zone and as a woman I felt safe walking around in the night. Affordable food options in the area. My only complain was my shower had black ( looks like mold) around the door. The rooms give an older hotel look. Look like the picture. I would recommend staying if you are on a budget in Cabo "
