"This place has an amazing breakfast. The owner literally cooks her chickens eggs and hand crafts her pastries and jam. You are literally 100 yards from the ferry so it is super convenient if you have an early ferry. "
"The hotel is in the centre of Zakynthos town, close to excellent local family run restaurants. Parking is a challenge as the hotel does not have onsite parking. The breakfast is very good with sufficient options to eat healthily (ie high protein options - boiled eggs and fresh yogurt)."
"Really nice hotel that just changed ownership! Great price for the comfort level and location next to everything on the busy little streets. I would just love if the pool was open earlier and later than 10-8 but all in all I can only recommend this place."
"The room is newly renovated, with air conditioning. Excellent location and easy to access everywhere. Free breakfast was provided and also can provided lots of tours as you choice."
"The toilet seat had urine stains when we first checked in and only God knows how long its been there. The kitchen lacked clean surfaces as did the floor of the entire room when we first got there. Housekeeping was done only on the third day (which we were told was apparently the norm) and greasiness of the floor did improve after the cleaning. Makes me wonder when was the last time the room was cleaned before we entered. Great location during the non-touristy season when much of the island is...
"A great little apartment in the centre of town. Good access to nearby shops, restaurants and near the port too. Perfect little hub for exploring the island "

The harbor's Venetian-style buildings frame bustling Solomos Square where locals gather at cafés beneath the bell tower. Explore the Byzantine Museum and Naval Museum, then catch a boat to Navagio Beach on the island's northwest coast.
"This was a great resort experience if you enjoy being pampered and presented with everything you need for an enjoyable vacation, like we did given it was our first time on Zakynthos island and didn’t know much about it. Amazing staff, beautiful rooms, great service. Pool and pool bar/restaurant was excellent. Concierge was very helpful. Nice short walk to the beach/beach bars. Now that we know more about the island we would opt for a more local/Greek experience next time, but this is a personal preference."
"Wow this place is amazing! The space is beautiful, we had a private pool with a view of the ocean and loved every minute of it. The people running the hotel are so thoughtful and make it unbelievably nice. Vicky in particular gave us consent delicious recommendations that did not miss! We had some of the best food in Greece thanks to her! There is every amenity you could want in the hotel and they will drive you up and down the hill to the town which has tons of cute restaurants and shops and some really good dessert spots. And anything you need, you can request through their app, it's so convenient and easy! And at night really it's so relaxing and beautiful, you won't regret staying here. "

"From the welcoming to the all out staff friendliness throughout the stay (from reception, to porters (Panagiotis) and pool bar (afroditi) to the tranquility of the setting, the food, rooms , everything was perfect "

"We had an incredible stay at this beautiful hotel! For our 25th anniversary, they surprised us with an upgrade from the standard Contessina Hotel to Contessina Suites and Spa and gave us a room with our own private pool, it was absolutely amazing. They also welcomed us with a bottle of wine and provided several great discounts throughout the hotel.
The included breakfast was a highlight, with fresh-squeezed juices and a delicious spread I looked forward to every morning.
But the best part? The staff who were all friendly, helpful, and genuinely courteous.
Don’t even hesitate — stay here. Highly recommended!"
