"Lovely hotel within walking distance of all the main attractions and close to Syntagma and Acropoli metro stops. Excellent breakfast and amazing views from the rooftop restaurant. Great to have a room with a balcony. Staff were all friendly and helpful."

"We stayed in Nov when sunset is right in front of Firostefani. View sunset from patio of this suite, no need to go anywhere. Good breakfast provided. Tell prop mgr about nay dietary preferences. Cleaning staff that come in between your stay i wish performed little more thorough cleaning esp. of bathroom. Place is more beautiful than online pics. Place is a street level. No need to climb up or down. Will rent again - Yes!"

"The service at the Plaka Hotel was really great. We checked in early, got a load of food washing done (15 euro), they organised a taxi for 4am on the day we left and made us a breakfast tray. Location is excellent - so central to everything. View from the rooftop is incredible. "

"Terrible location, unsafe pool. On arrival our taxi driver warned us not to be out in this area of Athens after dark because of “drug dealers and homeless people”. Being a 30min walk from the tourist areas this would have been difficult. After check in we went to view the pool as we were travelling with children who were excited to use it. "Stylishly decorated room with wood floors, comfy beds, spotlessly clean. Nice rooftop restaurant-bar with a view of the Parthenon. The buffet breakfast was tasty, provided lots of options and was excellent value. The location is convenient for visiting the historic sights as it is walking distance to the Acropolis as well as to a metro station. A gem."

The BEST hotel in Athens.

"What a fabulous hotel!! It is perfectly located in a charming area with restaurants, bars, sights, shopping all within walking distance. The breakfast was delicious and we had a wonderful dinner with a full on spectacular view of the Acropolis all lit up. Our room had the same view with a lovely patio. We kept the curtain open all night long to have that wonderful view. Would absolutely stay at this hotel again. It made our trip to Athens so special."

Great place to stay for an early departure...

"This is a great place to prepare for a departure to return home. We had an early flight, so we didn't want to worry about traffic from Athens, so getting to this hotel relieved us of that issue. We were able to walk right across the street and go to the airport. Restaurants were good, rooms were awesome, we even had a spa day!"

"This beautifully appointed and quiet hotel is perfectly situated to take advantage of Athens--from Syntagma Square to Plaka to the Acropolis, most things are in walking distance. While the hotel has many amenities, the high point is the Parthenon view from the 10th floor restaurant where a copious buffet breakfast is served each day and where drinks and dinner are available each night. "
