"One night stay for a gig in Leeds, the lady on reception was the most welcoming of any staff I’ve ever come across in properties I’ve stayed at . The place was nice and quiet and well presented. It done exactly what was required, the only negative I would say was that the room was very cold and the heater only stopped on for a short period of time but that also could have been myself not knowing how to work it correctly. "Whitby is overpriced for overnight accommodation. Unless you are here for more than two nights the YHA is perfect. Great location (unless you don’t like walking uphill) beautiful views, free parking, basic but very comfortable beds and an amazing breakfast for £10 (2024) Excellent "
