We stayed for one night in the Lucie Snowe Suite, which was on the 4th floor, on the corner of Briggate and opposite McDonalds. The room was lovely and clean, although the bathroom is not so executive given this is a suite. The toilet didn’t flush properly, and the shower kept going hot and then cold throughout the shower, which is part of the bath. I got just as wet from the spray from the faulty hose as I did from the shower head. Although it seemed the room was in an ideal location when we arrived, at night time the noise really let our experience down. My partner and I really struggled to sleep and finally got to sleep at 4 AM after hours and hours of loud “bass” music from the clubs on Briggate, noise from drunk people outside and around other areas of the hotel, as well as traffic and loud music. The noise element of my review is unfortunate for the hotel I feel as it is a bit beyond their control. We did have access to the Executive Lounge which was very good. Soft drinks and Tea/Coffee served all day, and at 5:30pm they have free wine/beer/drinks plus snacks which made it a very pleasant drop in area before carrying on with our plans for the night. In hindsight, the location is very convenient and Executive Louge very good, but probably only best for heavy sleepers! I’m not sure I would stay there again..

Our go to hotel in Leeds. High quality, clean & well appointed with the perfect location. Add to that the most important feature…the staff. A team that treats you & each other like extended family. Shout out to the very pleasant young man who checked us in, tall, dark, plus Claudia, Nuna & Nicki who all made our visit extra special. Special shout out to the ever present Paul….present when not even in the building, who was instrumental in helping with my wife’s birthday celebrations. Thank you Paul. Hotel room was lovely and the beds super comfy! However didn’t sleep at all due to noise inside the hotel & coming from near by clubs/bar. I think staying mid week here is probably fine but weekends the area is just very noisey. Location otherwise good as it’s right by train station and lots of shopping!

The room was like trying to sleep in a rescuing plant. From 3am in the morning there were multiple disposals of glass into large bins on the street below. Worst nights sleep in a long time in a hotel. Which is a shame as everything else about the room and hotel was lovely.

I cannot fault this hotel really. Was a bit cold with the duvet supplied. But there is heating in the room once you figure how it works. The only real nagging point is that there was not enough tea, sugar and milk for two people. Only stayed one night but would stay again. Great end when we shared a lift with members of UB40 who we saw the night before in concert.
