"I've always wanted to stay here but haven’t been able to because its always been full. Having now stayed there, I understand why as this place is excellent. We received a very friendly welcome. The communal areas and room were spotless. The hotel is quiet - it almost felt like we had the place to ourselves. Bed comfortable, bedding clean, bathroom spotless. "My stay here was perfect for someone who was just having a night out with mates. I went to the football at 3 and checked in around 6pm seamlessly. I had an allocated bed in the dormitory and it was still vacant when I arrived in at 4am. Check out was 1030 and issueless. "A very nice little flat 10 minutes walk away from the city centre. Lovely thick carpets. The main bedroom is very nice indeed. Comfortable bed. Effective fan provided which was a godsend during hot weather. Kids bedroom was nice too and they loved the bunk bed set up, which was solid. "The decor was lovely and different. We enjoyed the bath in the room, felt like a treat. The underfloor heating in the large bathroom was nice and the coffee machine was a nice extra too. The heating was not very intuitive and therefore we were a bit cold however it was a particularly icy day. Overall, we’d recommend this hotel for a nice stay which is a bit different. "

"The staff were very welcoming , the guest house was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a gluten free option,including the sausages and the bread. We were able to leave our cases in reception after we checked out in the morning, until we wanted to travel in the afternoon. Would stay there again if we return to the area"

Little night away

"Great location, right next to train station and couple of minutes walk in to the centre. Hotel was beautiful, very impressed. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Room was lovely. A couple of hairs and a bit of dust in the bathroom, so could have been better, but was by no means dirty. Would definitely go back"
