"It seems that the hotel is poorly managed. We arrived in the evening and ordered an in-room dining. We were promised the food in 30 minutes, but instead it took more than an hour to get it. "I stayed here twice. This was the only hotel I found in China that actually spoke no English. Most of the staff was nice but one bad apple made things very unpleasant--when checking in, the receptionist first ignored us for 5 minutes while letting others go first, then (very deliberately) tried to charge 70 yuan extra, and then took about 15 minutes to run the credit card correctly. "We were pleasantly surprised by their hot springs and dinner bbq that they offer. The service is great, we were celebrating our Anniversary during our stay and they made it very memorable with a surprise waiting for us in our room. A very memorable stay and a place I would recommend to our friends and to anyone looking to relax whilst in Xishuangbanna. "
