"I enjoyed my stay and the staff were great. But I had problems getting shower going and there was no heating on. Both problems were fixed but there could have been more info. Especially as the pub was closed the Sunday evening I arrived so no help available."

"Friendly staff but disappointed overall. There was a large window with new curtains and carpet. There was a new toilet, sink and radiator in the bathroom. But it was small and the shower itself let the place down. They have overlooked some of the basics including decent beds without headboard and gap at the end to lose your pillows.Filling the kettle at the sink was near impossible as it didn’t fit under the tap."

"Friendly and amazing staff. I was able to check in early for a wedding I was attending. The location is great (very, VERY close to North Laine which is great for shopping and food/drinks). Room was clean, had air con and the bed was comfy!"

"More shabby than chic, I nevertheless soon became quite enamoured of my humble little room on the first floor. These prices were often a third of the travelodge. Is Schmotel three times worse than travelodge? No it’s a different thing. I was therefore pleased that there were no ghosts or Frankensteins and no poo on the wall or ceiling, and nobody with loud and evil intent anywhere in the seven blessed rooms. "

"The photos look far better than reality! Hall and stairs very scuffed. Room and bedding were clean. Shower was dodgy…the water didn’t drain away, so you had to be very careful not to let it spill over the shower tray. "

"This property was very clean and spacious! Great service and very close to the city centre with lots of food options and shopping within walking distance. It’s also just a quick 10 minute walk to Brighton Beach! "

"Nice brand new building with well equipped apartments. Check-in process is not very straightforward though and we had to contact the company many times for different issues during the process of pre-check-in and check-in. Apartment was not ready at 3pm. Also parking is very expensive and on top of that they want you to remove the car as soon as you check out so you can’t spend the day and collect car later which is a shame and very unusual."
