"Second receptionist warmer than 1st. Maybe the offer of calling us when the room was ready instead of asking us to call to see if the room was ready would have been more efficient/going the extra mile. Food was lovely, lovely village location. Shame the sewage works was going on whilst we visited but not hotels fault. Don’t agree with the service charge automatically being put on the food bill, food was lovely but not cheap and then 10% charge on top for serving two people. To be fair...

"This was our second visit, this time with our dog. The hotel is great to visit with a dog, a nice room available to sit with a drink or coffee in the main house. Our room was large and very well placed to take Ted to the beautiful, safe garden. We had a meal in the restaurant that was beautiful but the wine made it very expensive! Beautiful breakfast. We will return again!"
