"We found it strange that the bedroom did not have a window. It was the way the unit was designed but did not like not been able to open a window. Outside in the car park could be tidier to make a more attractive entry. "

"This motel looks quite scruffy from the outside but the unit itself had been refurbished and was quite spacious. Excellent beds and linen, but threadbare towels and no salt and pepper. A mirror by a powerpoint is needed for drying hair as the hairdryer can't be plugged in the bathroom. A handy location close to the beach and shops and surprisingly quiet at night."

"A curious property. We stayed for one night on our way back from the far North of NZ. No on-site dining of any kind was available: no breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The "Cafe" was closed. Our room/studio was quiet, with a separate bedroom featuring the best mattress of our long trips to NZ. "The older gentleman working there was so lovely, very helpful and was such a great first impression of the business. This was a last minute booking so we just needed a bed for the night, the duvet was a bit dirty (had some stains and bits on it) but overall the room was tidy and did the job. "Like this property. The rooms are big and very comfortable. The only thing we were disappointed about was because it being Christmas Day on our first morning our room was not serviced and we had no dry towels or clean washcloths on our 2nd morning. We understand the holiday problem but fresh towels could have been left for us. Other than that all was good and would stay again."

Luxurious, modern room with a great staff

"Auckland was the last stop on our 26-day vacation and this was definitely the right hotel to end with. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful. The room was wonderful, with a nice view of the harbor. If you are arriving in a car (not taxi or Uber), one thing to watch out for is that they don't really have a driveway in front of the hotel. Just 2 small parking spots where you can pull in, check-in or out, pack or unpack. But if they are busy you might have to make a few laps around the block until a spot is empty."
