Hotel is really nice. Room was beautiful. The reception is really awkward you have to wait for someone to come and get you from downstairs. We waited for 20minutes before someone from the sofitel hotel scanned us up to the reception because they took too long and then we had to wait outside the reception for them to come. The tv was in a awkward spot not infront of the couch or the bed so had to turn the cabinet around. The toilet flush was really weak had to flush a few times just to flush a little toilet paper down. The location is really good close to a countdown, night market on Friday night and princess wharf. But keep in mind on the weekends most of the shops and cafes are closed in the weekends that are closest to the hotel. But other then those little hiccups everything was really great with our staycation.

Do not recommend stay here. Air conditioning did not work in all rooms, and check-in horrible as itit is not accessible due to the strange nature of the room of Marsden being in the Sofitel Hotel but cannot access the reception and must call and wait 30 minutes for someone to receive and greet you with your luggage.

Staff were awesome and very friendly. Unfortunately air conditioning didn’t work for the two nights, had to have the balcony window open which was extremely noisy, toilet constantly flushed, shower basin had hairs in it, temporary electric fan providers like sleeping next to a jet engine. Other than that had a great stay!
