Great place to stay in Otago. I had loads of fun doing day trips across Otago from here. Peter knows so much about the local area and good hiking, biking and touring routes. Nice quiet rural stay with a lovely farmhouse vibe. Will definitely have to stay again when I’m back in the area.

We really loved the place. It's a big house with 4 bedrooms. We were very late for check in but still the property owner Peter came to give us the key and show us around. A really nice place with a great host. Recommended.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! Peter is very knowledgeable about the local area and was so kind and welcoming to our family. The farm is beautiful and our children were thrilled to be introduced to all the animals. We stayed in the Orchard cabins which were very clean and comfortable. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Good. Friendly welcome. History of farmhouse.
Not so good. Relative remoteness. Access via dirt road 10km. Better directions.

This is an old (1900) farm house with many original features, gives you a real sense of living on a farmstead. Peter was great very helpful , has a well stocked fridge with wine or beer to buy. Fresh baked bread in the morning was great. There is a small eating place in Waipiata about 4 km away. To top it all I helped feed his lambs with a bottle.
I was travelling from Timaru to Queensland and this was a nice place to stop, stepped back in time.

Peter ist sehr freundlich, hat uns alle mögliche erzählt. Das Hotel liegt sich in der Nähe von dem bekannten alten Rail-Trail. Gut für Fahrräder
