"Great spot to get away from it all. Wonderful hiking trails, we hired e-bikes from reception to explore the area. The hot-pot (jacuzzi) was top, you need to book a slot with reception which means you have it just for your group which was great. The restaurant and bar were great quality and all staff very friendly. Can't wait to go back!"

"What a beautiful and homey place to stay while in Interlaken. It was steps away from a grocery store and the train station but also very walkable to the river and restaurants. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful!"

"Good central location only 5-10 min walk from Interlaken West train station. Was a nice location in the suburbs and the host was very friendly and gave some good tips on where we were hiking that day. Breakfast was nice and varied, and our beds were comfortable. Somewhere to store our luggage at the property after checkout while we hiked around Interlaken prior to our departure from the nearby train station which has direct train to Zurich airport. Very good spot!"

"beautiful view of the mountains. NOT in town but a 10 minute walk to town on a path. free bus service upon checkin but walking back from town would not be for the elderly. the staff were very nice and helpful and check in was quick. especially good if you make your own food/ nice shared areas and porch. more outside areas to relax would be nice and perhaps a bar. "

"If you are looking for a hotel in the Grindelwald area you should stay here. Everything about his hotel is outstanding. The rooms and the entire hotel are very clean and quiet. The view from our room of the snow-covered mountains was beautiful. The entire staff was wonderful. They are interested in making your stay with them feel like you are part of this family-owned hotel. They are celebrating their 125th anniversary this month. "First, the photos do not do this hotel justice. It’s so quaint and warm. It feels like you’re going to someone’s home with vintage sewing machines, telephones, typewriters, etc. You’re just taken back in time. Rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is wonderful. The restaurant looks like a cabin and you sit with these amazing views of the mountains and gorgeous garden. Location is close to the train station and walking distance from shopping and restaurants."

"We were welcomed with a drink on the beautiful balcony while they brought our bags to the room. The room was spacious and air conditioned, however; the comforter was heavy. The breakfast was wonderful. A very nice buffet with an incredible view. They even had mimosas! The spa and outdoor tub looked nice but we did not use. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The property has great views of the lake and is convenient to get to if you have a car. If not you have to take the boat to get to the hotel. The only problem we had during our stay was the limited options of food available as there are no restaurants nearby besides the hotel restaurant."
