"Bellpark hostel was friendly and clean. The common rooms is large and you can get to know other travelers or grab a table for yourself. Food in Switzerland can be expensive but Bellpark is right across from a discount supermarket. It was great to have access to a full kitchen to cook a meal (even if the stove is a little old). "The hotel and general area was very peaceful. The hospitality was great, and the staff made us feel right at home. The view from the hotel is amazing, being close to both the mountains and the lake. It was also very convenient to drive to beautiful cities, such as Bern, Thun, the local Brienz, and Grindelwald is also not too far. Certainly has a more cottage vibe, but it adds to the experience. Opened the link on my phone and swiped the digital key to open the door. My concern was whether their WiFi would be working, which is needed to open the link. "We stayed here on our way to Basel for New Years and it was a quaint little hotel near a skiing hotspot. The fog in the area was quite thick so we unfortunately couldn’t take in the beauty of the area. The breakfast was rather limited compared to other places we stayed and parking was across the street in a shopping plaza lot but close enough not to be inconvenient. There were only a couple of restaurants that were open nearby and most people were in town for the skiing. Sad we couldn’t take one...
