"There were 3 flights of very steep stairs to our room (it is Amsterdam after all) but our host Jasper was very friendly and helpful and moved the suitcases up and down. It is very convenient to trams, the Metro, and shops and restaurants. Some things could have been in better condition, like the stained carpet, but this was a good base for exploring Amsterdam, particularly the art museums. Very quiet at night, too. And a small kitchen and a fridge with a lot of food was provided. Recommended."

"David is an excellent host who responded quickly to our need for a room due to an unexpected layover. The House from the 1600s is located next to a canal is near all the action but it it quiet and safe. The traditional room was clean and funky with some beers and chocolates included. A fantastic short stay !"

"Conveniently located within walking distance of the historic city centre. Second floor apartment within a traditional narrow canal-front townhouse. It is accessed up communal steep staircase from a main front door and is annexed to the main hotel next door. The apartment overlooks a very picturesque canal, which is the best feature together with the sizeable open plan living / dining / kitchen area. It has a comfortable double bedroom and a wet room. The kitchen area could use some minor repairs...
