"Room very clean but hot as aircpn did not work and shutter would not raise up. Service at reception and breakfast friendly and efficient. It was a little loud as you could hear all ghe rooms around you so we were glad it was only a stopover hotel for ys but perfect for our needs. "

"The hotel itself is beautiful and within walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The staff on reception were especially friendly and helpful and arranged restaurant reservations for us and checked ahead with all these restaurants to make sure they catered for gluten free. The restaurant within the hotel is definitely worth a visit, the tasting menu was absolutely stunning and the staff again were so friendly and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Located on a large private lot with a beautiful garden, the accommodation is like an Italian art palace inside, with high ceilings, big windows, overstuffed chairs, fine sculptures, paintings and large mirrors on the wall, Persian rugs on the floor, and marble everywhere. There is a covered veranda and a large garden in back, with a lawn, big shade trees, a trellis with roses, garden paths, geraniums, terra cotta pots and various marble statues and busts. ...

"Very helpful and nice staff. The bartender gave us lots of info on where to go and everyone was very anxious to please. Parking was a bit challenging but we were given a pass to park on the street. Delicious and varied breakfast. "

"The location was close to the promenade and beach. A lovely park was directly across from the property. It is a perfect place to walk to the train station, beach, restaurants and shops. It was a quiet location as well. The owners are lovely and very accommodating. The train made seeing Lucca and Cinque Terre a dream come true for me. I highly recommend this place. "
