I booked my stay at Reforma Guest House because I was staying nearby at a highly rated hotel but they were sold out for the last 2 nights of my stay in Mexico City and I had to move. "I loved this place except for the issues with hot water. 1) It was very hard to regulate, so sometines it would turn scalding hot by itself and 2) Two days there wasn't any hot water in the morning. I mentioned this to the receptionist and he said it was a recurring problem in higher floors. But it didn't seem they didn't have any intention of fixing it. Problem is bad enough that I wouldn't stay in this property ever again. Too bad, everything else was really nice."

"Great location! Comfortable room, breakfast buffet is so delicious. Hotel is beautiful, however only complaint is that we saw a sliver inside other rooms as they were being cleaned and all seemed a little more up to date than our room (I.e ours had carpet, no real decor, a high up window, basic bathroom while others had hardwood floor, bigger window, etc). Would stay again though! "

"Let me start by saying how cute this place is and the many courtyards are just beautiful. The area has numerous restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries. We loved having breakfast with complete strangers from all over the world and emensely enjoyed the conversations. The room was very spacious and had a great view of the courtyard! Plus it was very clean. I can't say enough about how friendly the staff was. We most definitely will stay at this hidden gem the next time we are in Mexico City."
